Joses Arins Emanzi

Composer · Sound Designer · Audio Engineer

Joses Arins Emanzi is a composer, sound designer, and audio engineer based in Kampala, and a co-founder of Mulika Studios, an audio post-production house that works with agencies, broadcasters, and filmmakers. He holds a B.A. in Music, and that grounding shows in the way he moves between writing music and engineering it.

His composition credits include the theme songs for the television series Sanyu and Damalie. In post-production he works primarily in Nuendo and Pro Tools, with a particular specialty in audio restoration and analysis using iZotope RX — the kind of detailed repair work that rescues difficult recordings and keeps a production's sound consistent.

At Mulika, Joses leads MAS (Mulika Audio Safari), a licensed sound library built specifically for content creators in Uganda, and produces original audio products including the sample pack Ganda Drums Vol. 1. He also engineers MAD (Mulika Acoustic and Decibels), the studio's monthly live-recorded artist sessions, and heads education at Mulika Sound School, where he trains the next generation of Ugandan audio engineers. Across all of it, his work is about building local infrastructure — sounds, tools, and skills — that Ugandan creators can actually reach for.
