Gad Ahimbisibwe

Production Sound Designer

Gad Ahimbisibwe is an accomplished production sound designer and a graduate of Makerere University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Film and Drama. He pairs a deep passion for storytelling with a keen ear for clean, faithful audio, and over the years he has become a dependable contributor to Uganda's fast-growing media industry.

His portfolio runs across film, television, documentary, and advertising. On the film and television side, his credits include the Sanyu series, My Love from Another Land, Jangu Tulye, Always with Me, The Office, Slum Bomber, City Girl, and Kampala Night Life (KNL). In documentary work he has contributed to titles with real social weight, among them Help Find Me, Little Faith, and the Akogo Festival film. His commercial credits include work for Jessa Juss, Bank of Africa, and 22Bet.

What ties the work together is a consistent standard: Gad combines technical precision with creative insight, delivering sound that supports the story rather than competing with it. Whether the job is a long-running drama series, a documentary shot in difficult conditions, or a tightly timed advert, he brings the same care to capturing audio that holds up all the way through post.
